Our homes are built for the Northwest with features like large decks and covered patios, porches and entries to extend your outdoor enjoyment.

Steve Winter
President

Steve spent 30 years in the high tech industry as a senior executive, ultimately as President and COO of a $1B publicly traded company. After far too many years on the road, he left the high tech industry to pursue his next passion - environmentally responsible community development and home building. Steve brings a wealth of financial and project management experience to the company as well as a deep understanding of technology and how it can benefit our customers and the environment. A guiding principle throughout Steve’s career has been to always provide the customer with the highest quality and value, and back that up with excellent long term support. A lifelong resident of Washington State and avid outdoorsman, Steve is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings through responsible growth and development.


Robert (Bob) Wettlaufer
Operations Manager

In addition to being an owner, Bob is responsible for all of the field operations of Novel Homes. Bob Graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Housing Studies. His studies placed an emphasis on single family residential design, environmental building systems and construction methods. Bob is a talented designer and an excellent craftsman having worked in the trade for several years. In addition to managing field operations, Bob works with our custom home clients on design, costing and project management. Bob is dedicated to making sure our customers receive the highest value for their money and a home that suits their needs and lifestyle.
